I recently finished a book by Dan Blank called Be the Gateway: A Practical Guide to Sharing Your Creative Work and Engaging an Audience.
He states: “Opening the gate is about finding your people. Knowing what resonates with them, where they hang out, and who reaches them. Then, one by one, bringing them through the gate.”
He argues the point about being a gateway to serve your readers through an authentic connection. We all believe ‘quantity’ is a measure of success, however ‘quality’ and ‘impact’ should be the real metric.
