Thank you! I wrote another response to a similar question where I said: “ I am referring to the case as an example. For example someone might hold a dogmatic belief that is one sided for many years, decades even. It might impose upon their happiness, since they look for evidence to justify the belief, even though they know on some level it is only their perception of reality. This is sometimes evident in intimate relationships where one partner holds a staunch belief that clearly upsets their partner, however they are unwilling to challenge the belief. Religion and politics are obviously where this might occur.”
That is the essence of what I’m trying to convey in the article.
