My name is Tony Fahkry and I am an author, a speaker, and a self-leadership coach who looks at issues relating to identity, inner alignment, and intentional action.
I have been writing for over fifteen years on the subjects of personal growth, beliefs, resilience, emotional regulation, and the inner patterns that affect the way people respond to life.
That work has gradually evolved into a deeper question:
People frequently know the kind of life they want to lead, but when pressure, emotion, uncertainty, or old conditioning come into play they lose contact with that version of themselves.
The main area of my work is concerned with what is known as identity-based self-leadership: this involves assisting people in becoming more aligned with themselves throughout their body, thoughts, actions, and sense of ownership, so that they can respond from their identity rather than from a state of reactivity. This is at the heart of my Alignment Model.
On Medium, I share practical reflections on:
1. Self-leadership: Involves becoming more consistent in the way you think, respond, decide, and act.
2. Identity: The thing that you turn to when life becomes difficult.
3. Inner alignment: Making your values, beliefs, purpose, emotional regulation, and behavior more coherent.
4. Relationships and decisions: Putting alignment into practice beyond formal leadership and in everyday life.
5. Personal growth: Looking at the basic ideas which have influenced my work and still do so today.
I have also written a number of books, such as Awaken Your Authentic Self, and I am currently developing the Alignment Model, which is a framework centered on the individual and intended to assist people in getting back in alignment before taking action. Leadership is one form of that alignment, just as are relationships, decisions, ownership, and presence.
I also work privately with people who want thoughtful support as they work through change, uncertainty, or recurring patterns. These conversations are practical, reflective, and focused on helping you return to greater alignment in how you think, respond, decide, and act.
